My point is: I've always thought of red light as impractical (you lose nearly all contrast) and not as beneficial for retaining nightvision as many people think. The high mode pretty much requires NiMH to reach the full claimed output. The Manker E03 comes with a built in sliding diffuser, costs half what the Zebralight does and even offers what I consider a better emitter. Been out of the game for a while.
